You Are Entitled to a Mortgage Second Opinion
Have you already been pre-approved by someone else for your mortgage? Are you sure you have the best option for you? Have you explored different scenarios, or have you just said - "Great! I'm pre-Approved!"?
Imagine you have just been told by your doctor that you have to go on a medication to treat a rare heart condition that has no symptoms, but your doctor fears you might have. Most people don't want to take their doctor's word for it- they want to have a second opinion.
This is how it should be for you with your mortgage, also. This very well might be the biggest purchase you make in the forseeable future-even in your life. If you have been pre-approved or pre-qualified on your mortgage, are you absolutely sure you are getting the best deal? And I am not just talking about your interest rate. There is a lot more to it than that.
I am talking about the deal itself-how it is structured, how it is broken out, how your whole life experience will proceed after closing on this loan.
Donald Trump, the Real Estate Mogul, wrote in his book "The Art Of The Deal" - "The price that you pay is the least of is worries in a transaction. It's how the deal is structured is what matters most."
You might have been quoted a wonderfully low interest rate that sounds fantastic, but is it really the best deal? How do you know? Ask for a mortgage second opinion.
I'm not saying that your interest rate is not important- it is! But how you get that rate and what you are giving for it is even more important. Here are some items to consider and decide if you want a second opinion.
* Should you decrease your down payment and use the cash to pay off high interest rate credit cards? Personal Loans? etc.
* Should you pay "points" or "origination fees?"
* Does a NO COST mortgage make sense for you? Will you qualify for one?
* Are you better of with a fixed rate or adjustable rate mortgage?
* Did your other lender discuss how to take 5 yrs or more off you mortgage and potentially save tens of thousands of dollars off your mortgage?
My website won't quote you a rate by you entering 10 pieces of information about yourself. My business is run based on a simple philosophy. Each person and loan is different. There is no simple way to do this job right. Give me the opportunity to review your current loan offer/pre-approval. If it really is the best bet, great. Your current mortgage professional has done their job correctly. But if there is any doubt in your mind, please contact me, either by the contact form below, or by calling me directly at 203-932-AHMC (2462). There is no cost whatsoever for this service. Worst case, you walk away after losing only 5-10 minutes of your time. Best case, I can help you set up the rest of your life for you and your family to be sucessful.
